As college students ourselves, we've struggled to access quality therapy on campus. But why? The answer is simple. There just aren't enough therapists to match the demand. Well, why aren't there enough therapists? 57% of master's-level graduates never obtain licensure in the therapy industry. An overwhelming majority of potential therapists give up on their careers due to factors outside of their control: high costs, low compensation, overworking, internship struggles, lack of diversity, and the list goes on. So where does SOL Health come in? As the first mental health company dedicated to working with therapists at the earliest parts of their career, our mission is to tackle the college mental health crisis and provide much-needed support for the next generation of mental health professionals, all at the same time.
