Roundglass Foundation has been working in Punjab, India, since 2018, creating global models for social change by engaging with communities. Roundglass Foundation is committed to improving the lives of children, youth, and women and protecting the environment by making long-term social, cultural, and economic investments in three areas of focus: environmental sustainability, youth development, and women's empowerment. Working in close collaboration with rural communities and local administration, Roundglass Foundation has impacted the lives of 2.4 million people in more than 2,400 villages in Punjab through various on-the-ground initiatives, including the Billion Tree Project, Learn Labs, and waste management programs

What you’ll do:

  • In close partnership with the Head of Development, coordinates the development and revision of the organization’s business plan, including articulating organization-wide goals; strategies; milestones; metrics; financial strategy; and staffing & budget projections.
  • Serves as a liaison in support of the outreach, advocacy and relationship building efforts of the Advisory Council and the set of regional Foundation Chapters, which are volunteer advocacy and fundraising groups comprised of influential leaders in philanthropy, corporate leadership, government, nonprofit, and community leadership and advocacy spaces.
  • Directly oversee a portfolio of approximately 200 current and prospective financial supporters. Ensures that each individual in the portfolio receives continuous, personalized attention and ongoing engagement in furtherance of that individual’s relationship with and support of RGF’s international development efforts. On average, conducts a minimum of one and an optimum of three personal contacts with current and prospective supporters each business day.
  • Ensure direct, efficient, responsive and personal support for each RGF Advisory Council to support that Board Members work to establish and build strong and productive relationships with current and prospective partners and investors.
  • Ensure that every financial supporter receives personalized, face-to-face follow-up reports that explains the use of the funding and the benefits created. Before these reports are generated, everyone will be consulted on the means of reporting that are most suitable and helpful for each.
  • Ensures that database protocols and procedures are comprehensive, best practice, and executed with discipline and accuracy. Ensure the donor database is continuously updated so that all information is accurate, up-to-date, and appropriately organized.
  • Oversee the production and distribution of projections and results to ensure the organization is on track to meet goals.
  • Statement of Ethics – takes lead responsibility to ensure that each member of the Development Office, and all members of the Board of Directors read and discuss, at minimum once annually, the AFP Code of Ethics and ensure that each individual engages with the concepts and adheres closely to these principles and practices.
  • Leads the development and implementation of development office planning efforts, including policies and procedures, and implementation of goals.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated record of successful team building and staff supervision
  • Record of outstanding academic achievement
  • Highly tuned listening skills
  • Confidence, professionalism, and passion for the mission to provide progressive housing and support to help people achieve and sustain independence.
  • Strong empathy & perseverance; highest ethical standards; optimistic, positive and charismatic disposition
  • College Degree; advanced degree preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience with nonprofit leadership, board governance, individual and corporate fundraising, business strategy, team building, organizational development and performance enhancement.

Pay & Benefits:

The anticipated salary range for this position starts at $130,000 plus full benefits. Actual pay will be based on job-related skills, experience, location, and internal equity, as permitted by Washington State law. Certain roles may be eligible for a bonus/incentive.

Roundglass benefits may include: 120 hours PTO to start (increases with tenure), 9 paid federal holidays + 1 floating holiday, bereavement (up to 3 days), jury duty (up to 2 days), medical/dental/vision (PPO/HSA with employer contribution), EAP (Standard), pet insurance, employer-paid basic life/STD/LTD, and a 401(k) with employer match up to $5,000/year. Benefits vary by employment type and work location; some benefits may not apply to part-time roles or positions outside the U.S
