About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Manager to lead the planning and execution of impactful, high-quality events from concept through to completion. This role demands strong organizational skills, creativity, and a passion for creating memorable attendee experiences. You will be responsible for end-to-end event management while ensuring client satisfaction, brand alignment, and operational excellence.
What you’ll do:
- Plan and manage both corporate and personal events from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with goals, timelines, and budgets.
- Maintain the event tracker and provide weekly status updates to your manager.
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and the principal to define event objectives and requirements.
- Source venues, negotiate contracts, and manage all third-party logistics including catering, décor, transportation, and A/V.
- Develop comprehensive event plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Oversee all event details such as guest lists, special attendees, promotional materials, and on-site logistics.
- Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and insurance requirements.
- Lead on-site event execution and troubleshoot issues with calm, proactive problem-solving.
- Supervise staff, volunteers, and vendors to ensure a smooth and professional guest experience.
- Support tactical day-of responsibilities as needed, including vendor coordination and setup.
- Collect and analyze feedback from attendees and stakeholders to assess outcomes and identify improvements.
- Prepare post-event reports with metrics, ROI, and recommendations.
- Coordinate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize events.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Event Management, Hospitality, Business, etc.); a Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing high-profile events, conferences, expos, or similar events.
- Knowledge of (and passion for) the wellness arena including, holistic practices, mental health, sustainability, food, music, sleep, science-backed practices, etc.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and attendees.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to plan an engaging and impactful event program.
- Attention to detail and a passion for delivering outstanding experiences to attendees.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel and work on weekends and evenings as required.
Pay & Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this position will start from $100K. Compensation offered will be determined by level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for a bonus incentive as part of a full salary package. In addition, Roundglass offers comprehensive benefits: Regular 9 federal holidays and 1 floating holiday, 3 days of bereavement, 2 days of jury duty, medical/dental/vision with PPO/HSA plans with employer contribution, EAP provided by CIGNA and Standard, Pet Insurance for your furry friends, Basic Life/LTD/STD employer paid, 401k plan with maximum match of $5,000.00, PTO (paid time off) 120 hours to start and increased by years of service. Some benefits are not applicable for Part-Time Employment & outside of the United States.
