Social Media Coordinator (Part-Time)
Expectation: Part-Time Position (20 hours/week)
Location: Toronto or NYC
Reports to: Director of Brand Marketing & Social Media Manager
Who You Are
People say you are exceptionally organized, fast-moving, reliable, warm, emotionally intelligent, detail-obsessed, proactive, curious, and deeply online. You’re the type of person who intuitively understands digital communities and knows how to keep social spaces feeling alive, responsive, and intentional.
You're a social media native — you instinctively understand platform behaviours, trends, community expectations, and how to communicate with warmth and clarity in DMs and comments.
You're obsessively organized — you thrive on creating systems, managing inboxes, organizing assets, tracking calendars, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks, from DM follow-ups to scheduled posts.
You're systems-focused — you can master scheduling tools, manage posting pipelines, coordinate content libraries, and seamlessly integrate into Notion, Later, Planoly, or any tool we use.
You're community-oriented — you love building connection and presence online, whether that’s responding thoughtfully to a DM, engaging with our journeyers, or supporting our co-pilots.
You're detail-obsessed — you can spot typos, tone mismatches, missed tags, inaccurate captions, or anything that feels off-brand.
You're energized by wellness and community — you care about building meaningful digital spaces that support real-world connection.
You’re not afraid to jump in — whether that means responding to a high volume of DMs, catching opportunities with creators, or handling ad-hoc social tasks that help the team move faster.
Role Overview
What you'll do
Community Management
Own our Instagram and TikTok inboxes daily. Respond to DMs with brand voice guidelines, engage with journeyers, escalate customer questions, and ensure the inbox is organized, clear, and always responsive.
Manage our Instagram Community, dropping playful BTS and engaging with our community.
Social Media Scheduling & Posting
Manage the content calendar, schedule posts, prep captions, add tags and links, maintain consistency, and ensure our daily posts go out flawlessly and on time.
Engagement & Outreach
Comment on aligned accounts, like and reply to tagged posts, engage with the wellness community, and support outreach to influencers, creators, and co-pilots.
UGC & Asset Organization:
Save, catalogue, and organize UGC, content submissions, social playground content, and tagged posts. Maintain organized Notion or Drive folders for the rest of the team.
Social Admin & Tracking:
Keep structured lists of our creators, partners, and outreach targets. Help track basic performance data such as views, engagement, and saves. Manage our close-friends.
Campaign Support:
Support launches, contests, and campaigns by helping with outreach, coordinating DM-based submissions, tracking entries, and supporting the marketing team with any admin tasks.
Brand Voice Stewardship:
Write and reply with warmth, groundedness, and clarity — ensuring every interaction feels elevated, thoughtful, and Othership-aligned.
Ideas & Inspiration
Support our content creation team with ideas and inspiration by following emerging trends.
Why you may like us
You’ll have meaningful ownership over a major part of our brand identity — our digital presence and community. Your work creates real connection every day.
We're solving a meaningful problem: loneliness, disconnection, and modern stress. You care about helping people feel seen, supported, and part of something.
Close mentorship and learning opportunities from the marketing team and founders.
Exposure to a wide range of functions (social, community, creative, partnerships).
Access to a world-class network in wellness, branding, design, and community building.
Work with the tools that are standard in modern marketing.
Freedom to work remotely most of the time.
Why you might not be excited about us
We have an intense work culture. This is our life’s mission and we take it seriously. We are always on. If this sentence feels stressful, this won’t be the job for you.
Social moves fast - you’ll need resilience, quick reactions, and strong emotional regulation when responding to high-volume community interactions.
Projects may not be perfectly defined - you’ll be expected to bring your own structure, initiative, and perspective.
We have less structured training than a large company - you’ll learn by doing.
We don’t have an office. Work is done remote or collaboratively at team homes.
