How you’ll be impactful:

We are looking for a Technical Lead to be a founding architect of our new multi-brand web ecosystem. You will be part of creating the new website experiences for our company marketplaces, ensuring high performance and a seamless visual experience across our diverse brand portfolio.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Architecting the Future: Lead the technical design and implementation of our next-generation marketplace web experiences using Next.js, ensuring a highly performant and SEO-optimized frontend.
  • Scaling Multi-Brand Systems: Develop and maintain a robust, scalable Design System (and component library) that seamlessly supports multiple brands with unique identities through a unified codebase.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Act as the technical bridge between Design and Engineering, working closely with UI/UX designers to translate high-fidelity designs into reusable, accessible, and flexible React components.
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with other Front-end Team Leads to establish organization-wide standards, share best practices, and ensure architectural consistency across different product squads.
  • Mentorship & Growth: Foster a high-performance engineering culture by mentoring senior and mid-level developers, conducting thorough code reviews, and advocating for "clean code" principles.
  • Performance & Reliability: Own the end-to-end frontend lifecycle, from optimizing Core Web Vitals to implementing robust testing strategies.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Next.js Mastery: Proven track record of shipping complex, large-scale applications using Next.js (including experience with App Router and SSR(including incremental streaming)/CSR/ISR/SSG strategies).
  • Design System Expertise: Deep understanding of atomic design principles and experience building multi-tenant or multi-brand component libraries.
  • Themed Architecture Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of design tokens, CSS variables, and how to manage "themability" at scale across various brand identities.
  • Leadership Maturity: Experience leading a technical team or acting as a principal-level individual contributor, with the ability to navigate technical trade-offs.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with Design Leads.
  • Modern Tooling Proficiency: Strong experience with TypeScript, State Management and modern CI/CD pipelines.

Bonus Points (Nice to Have):

    • Performance Obsession: Experience fine-tuning Core Web Vitals and image optimization.
    • E-commerce/Marketplace DNA: Previous experience working on high-traffic marketplaces with a focus on SEO.
    • Testing Rigor: Familiarity with Visual Regression Testing to ensure brand consistency.
    • Headless CMS: Experience integrating Next.js with platforms like Contentful, Strapi, or Sanity.
