Position Details

As a Dishwasher at the Gaia Cafe, you’ll ensure the back and front of the house is fully stocked with clean utensils to create a seamless dining experience. You will join a team that supports and builds genuine relationships with each other through respect, encouragement, and teamwork. This is a unique opportunity to work in a corporate cafe during traditional business hours serving a consistent customer base on a daily basis. Maintaining stock areas in a neat and orderly fashion on a daily basis

• Operating the dish-washing machine
• Cleaning and washing food-service carts, dishes, utensils, trays, pots, pans, etc.
• Using proper sanitation in all food and service areas
• Maintaining cleanliness in all work areas, equipment, and appliances
• Delivering food requests to stations as needed
• Keeping all kitchen work areas, dining rooms and break rooms clear of dirty dishes
• Sweeping and mopping floors and work areas
• Clean service and seating areas
• Setting up and breaking down salad bar and hot food stations
• Assisting barista during high volume customer times
• Provide cashier service as needed
• Involves repetitive motion

One year of food service or customer service experience preferred, but not required

• Adhere to weekly/monthly cleaning schedules as posted by manager
• Familiarity with our content is strongly preferred
• Must be able to work in our cafe in Louisville, Colorado
• US citizenship or an existing work visa is required

Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 3:00 pm

As a Café staff for Gaia you would spend your work days in a beautifully constructed building where people take their meals outside when the weather permits and enjoy good food and drinks together. We are a professional and fun team that works with amazing products and customers everyday. We are excited to have a new member join us and help build the quickly growing Gaia Cafe.
